Dear Mr M
I Really Like How the school is now but I think you should have the seniors learning a lot more of maths to get the people that aren't that good at maths better at maths.
For the juniors I Think you school give them a little more harder stuff for the kids that have a big grade.
With the bell at school you should let a block choose the song or sound the would want it to be because the a four blocks. there are also four terms in the year.
Just as a few changes in the school.
Thanks for reading.
From Nici
I am a student at in Uru Mānuka. In 2020 I was a year 8 and in 2021 I will be a year 9. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Please note....some work won't be edited - just my first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.
Hi there Nici,
ReplyDeleteIt's Jade F here from the SLJ team! Great job on completing more activities.
Activity 1-Great job on ranking the music clips from your favourite to least favourite. Could you tell me why you've placed each clip in the order you put them in? Was there something in particular that you liked/disliked? Music? Beat? Rhythm?
Activity 2- Well done on listing out what you liked and disliked about the fashion in the 1970's! Could you tell me more on each point and why you liked/disliked those points? Also if you had the opportunity, would you wear the bell bottom pants?
Bonus Activity- I really liked reading your letter to the principal. I thought your ideas of incorporating more challenging maths activities into the junior school would be very beneficial to the students! Do you think it should be an option for students in case there a students who find maths challenging who might feel nervous around having more challenging maths work? Also, having the blocks take turns choosing what kind of bell to ring at school is such a creative idea! What kind of bell or song would you choose?
Well done on your blog post Nici! I look forward to reading more of your blog posts.
Cheers,
Jade F :)
