  1. Hi there Nici,

Jade F here from the Summer Learning Journey team! Great job on completing another set of tasks! :)

Activity 1- I was very impressed with your short story about Hairy Maclary and his friends Hercules Morse and Bottomley Potts. The storyline, I thought was very adventurous and fun! I like how it had aspects of the author’s story like the dogs bumping into the menacing cat Scarface Claw but your twist about Hercules Morse and Bottomley Potts rescuing Hairy Maclary in the creek was excellent! Very creative and well written!

Activity 2- That’s amazing that you would like to go to Australia for your OE! Which part of Australia would you like to visit? I visited Sydney last year and it was so much fun; I saw the Three Sisters which were phenomenal and I really enjoyed going to Taronga Zoo and seeing the animals! That’s handy that you have family that live there, you wouldn’t have to pay for a place to stay and save money!

Bonus Activity- Good choice in interviewee. I reckon Jacinda Ardern would definitely be lovely to interview and she would have so much to say! What kind of questions in particular would you like to ask her? Tell me about them in a comment. :)

I look forward to hearing from you Nici. Keep up the great work!

    All the best,
    Jade F :)
