1)  What is a war memorial? Why were they built?	They were built to remember the people who went to war for us.  It is a building to remember the people that got killed while helping to make our home a safe place.
2)  Who does a war memorial or monument represent? Why is it important to remember them?	It represents the people that passed away but also helped us have a safe and happy country. It is important to remember them because they made our country a safe place.
3)  Imagine you were a soldier who passed away in the war, how would you feel knowing that memorials were made to celebrate your life? Why?	I would feel happy but also sad because hearing what we did made them happy but hearing them celebrating my life I would feel sad because of hearing how good my life was.
4)  Design your own monument or memorial. What would it look like? Use Google Drawings.

The Present Reflection

We watched a video called the present and i’m reflecting on what makes
the boy like the dog 

When the dog got put down on the table in the box the boy didn’t
think much of it because he was focused on his video games. His mum told
him to open the box and find out what was in it. So the boy opened the box to
find out what was in it and he saw the dog. He got really excited and then he
looked down at the dog and saw that he was missing a leg. His feeling went
from happy to disappointed because he didn’t like it. So he then threw the dog
onto the floor and then continued playing his video games. The dog was not
going to give up so he looked around the room and he saw a ball he went
running and get it but he hit his head on the draw it was under. He didn’t let
that stop him so he finally got the ball and took it to the boy. The boy didn’t
want to play with the dog so he just kicked the ball away but the dog went to
get it. He fell over a few times but he got it. Then he took it back to the boy.
The boy saw that the dog was not giving up and then he realized that the dog
was like him but he didn’t care. So he went outside and he started playing with
the dog and then he liked the dog.

Isolation Diary

Hey everyone so each week I am going to do a post about what I've been doing in my bubble. The people in my classes are all doing it and we are doing them because once this is all done in a few years this will all be history. So please enjoy and maybe help me out on what I could do better to make my bubble more fun or something like that or even to make my blog posts better.

Today I ate Toast for breakfast I had chop Suey for lunch and vegetables and sausages. I did no activities today because I have been doing school work for most of the day. To keep my wellbeing going well me and my family have been eating healthy and going for walks. I haven't picked a new hobby for around the house. Lately, I have been feeling happy because I'm spending more time with my family.

Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children

For reading, I am reading a book called Miss Peregrines Home For Peculiar Children it is written by Ransom Riggs. I am writing the post for the people that might not have read this book. If you think you have read this book but not sure if you have this is what the cover looks like ￫￫￫￫￫￫￫￫￫￫￫￫￫￫
So far I am enjoying it. It is a bit like a mystery because once you read one page you are really want to know what happens on the next page and before you read it you think to your self " Will the next page be like this one or a bit different... I guess we will find out" The book is a senior fiction but I was allowed to get it out for my reading work. I think so far the book would be rated for year sevens that are good at reading to year thirteens in school years adults would probably read the whole book in like one week because they are  really good at reading and they know most of the words in the dictionary because of when they went to school they had to write words out from the dictionary if they didn't behave so they know a lot of words if they didn't behave at school.

Hey Everyone so I have been reading rainfall as you know. but I have just finished the book and I am going to tell you a bit about it but not spoil it because you might want to read it this is what the book looks like. I am going to put the activities that I did in so you have a slite idea about the book. So here they are 


Before Reading

What impression do you get from the front cover?  What can you infer about the book?

Answer: I get the impression that it is going to be about horses and a girl and her family

Read the blurb on the back.  Does this interest you?  Why/Why not?
Answer: It does interest me because it is kind of looks like night vision because it has murdered in it.

Open the book to any page.  Read the page.  Did you find what you read funny, interesting or dull?  Why or why not?
Answer. I read page 16 and I found it interesting because one of the people will be getting arrested

Who is the author?  Do some research.  Where are they from?  Have they won awards?  Why might your teacher have chosen this author for you to read?
Answer: The author is Ella West. She is an  Australian author who won the LIANZA young author award in 2015

Answer: Non-fiction because a lot of things like murders and people playing basketball happens a lot

Answer: a girl needing to get to a basketball game but that girl has horses and murder ends up happening

Sea Turtles

For the past two weeks Mrs Jacks reading groups have been learning how a Sea Turtle grows from a egg to a adult. So we had to make a expiation about how they grow up. Please give me more feedback if you know any thing that I didn't put in my writing.

Years ago when the dinosaurs were around the sea turtles were around as well.

When the eggs are laid the female Sea Turtle goes up high on a beach then lays her 50 to 200 eggs. The eggs are nice and soft  and they are the size of a ping pong ball.

Once  80% of eggs hatch they are the size of a human’s palm. So they squirm all the way to the sea to swim and swim all the way back and forth to the beach where they were born.

While They are growing up some of them end up dead because of the oil and all of the gas the us humans are dumping in sea.

Once the sea turtles are a adult they end up back at the the beach
where they were born. So they can get the continue the way for their life
cycle again.

So that concludes how a Sea Turtle egg grows into a grown and breading
adult. From their little palm size baby to a big grown adult.

What I know about Novels

For the next few weeks in reading we are learning to ask questions before, during and after.

Here is what i already know.

Chinese new year

For that past few weeks Mrs Jacks Reading group Has Been Learning about the Chinese new year. We Had To Make Notes About Everything we Learnt about the Chinese new year. We also Had to make a dragon. I Hope You Enjoy.

• Children Always Get Coins Or Mandrinds Or Tokes And The Have To Be In Even Number
• You Can’t Give Shoes Because It means They Would walk away from good luck
• A pig has easygoing, honest, trusting, educated, sincere and brave As It’s personality.
• It’s also a time to celebrate the spring festival.
• At The End of the celebration there is a special festival.

For The Past Weeks Mrs Jacks Reading Group Have Been Learning how to quick write. We Had To Do A quick write. The First Thing We Did Was chose A Charter And Setting And A Action.

The Hardest Part Was Choosing what I to do.
The Easiest part was writing it.
