To day I only have to do the bonus activity because I was out doing road patrol. But everyday we get points for how well we did today for the points we get 12 points. Today I had no links to go to and learn from.

Bonus Activity: For this activity we had to write about what we enjoyed of the trip and what we didn´t enjoy about the trip.

My Calendar Art

WALT-To make a piece of art for a calendar.

We have been making a piece of art and made it a calendar. The first thing we did was choose what type of design we wanted to do. The choices we had were happy hearts, a city, or a koro I chose the city. The next thing we did was draw how we wanted it to be in our design book. Then we made it on a piece of paper what we couldn't rub out or mess up on. After that we painted it or colored it in it depended on what one you chose. Then after after that we went over the lines of the buildings.

Welcome to the SHS learning programe day 5

Today I am posting the same thing as the last few weeks. Today For learning about New Zealand we were taking one step at a time. I have been posting all the things I need to post to get all the points and today the most points I can get is 2,2 and 10  I love doing this because you can learn new things and it make me a better new Zealander. activity 1. write a 8 or 10 sentence story about what you would do is you are lost.

I turned around and found that the whole group was gone. I got super scared I was shaking. I got super hungry so I am lucky that I had some food in my bag. I tried to yell for help but no one heard me. Then I yelled my loudest but still no one heard me. I was getting worried I went to find a way out. Suddenly I saw light I wanted to go to it. So I went to it but I got closer and saw that it was a tall pile of dead grass. I tried to make a call on my phone but I had no serves.  I suddenly saw sunlight.

Bonus activity. Tell our Viewers if we would like to cycle the Otago Rail and why.

I would like to cycle the Otago Rail because it looks nice and I think it would have a great view. If I ever go there I would be able to have a competition on my bike and that would be fun.

Welcome to The SHS Learning programe Day 4

We have been Traveling for 4 days now and we have gone to a lot of places. Here are all the links I had to use to find out some stuff about where we went. 1. Cook Strait  2. Picton 3. Farewell Spit 4. The Beach that became a whale grave 5. Hector Dolphins.  We went on all the links to lean all about these places.



Activity 1.  Describe about the beach the many whales are dying on. 6 sentence.
First they covered the wails blow hones and had to stay away from the tails. Then They started to tip water on the whales to keep them wet and moist. They were working all night to keep the whales wet and moist for the time no one went to sleep. When you are trying to help the whales you must be careful not to touch the whales tail.  Some people offed there towels to put over the whales blow horns.
Bonus activity. Tell people what you think if you think fishing at Farewell Spit should be band or stopped.
I think fishing if the Farewell Spit should be stopped because the whales could get stuck in the nets that the fishers use to get the fish in and the can;t get out so they could die.

Activity 1: is to learn about a animal that in in new Zealand I choose the Brown Kiwi. on the site there are the animals you can adopt here is the link New Zealand adopt a critter

1. How long do brown kiwis live for?: Brown Kiwis can live between 25 to 50 years.
2. How big are brown Kiwis?: Female brown Kiwis are 40cm.
3. What do brown Kiwis eat?: They mostly eat Earthworms, Centipedes, ,Spiders,Crickets and Weta and some fallen fruit.

Activity 2. For this activity we were told to go to this website Possum Facts and then write down at lest 3 facts about possums.

1.  A new born baby Possum is only 1.5cms long it ways only 2 grams and if you didn´t know that is  the size of a jelly bean.
2.   A mother possum has a pouch to carry the baby possum in. 
3. In new Zealand possums are  black and grey.

WALT: Learning about new Zealand mostly Auckland.


Today and the rest of the week we are learning about New Zealand. we have two activity's and then a bonus one here are we get points for how we did it if we didn't do the work we would get zero points. At the end we will get prizes for the 1st 2nd and the 3rd place if you get zero points you will come last and not get a prize. 

Day 1:
Activity 1.
We had to read a site and choose three facts but put them in your own words.

1. For over four hundred years before Christopher Columbus and the rest of the new Zealanders were worried about falling off the edge of the world.


2. New Zealand European pioneers were also brave  They were rugged  and independent.

3.Before Sir Ernest Rutherford ´split´ the atom early in the twentieth century, Kiwis have been inventing things.



Activity 2.

1. Auckland is a home to 1.5 million people.
2. In Auckland the water is never far away.
3. In Auckland there and many places to explore. 
4. You can walk across the bay and enjoy a nice seafood lunch.
5.   Other west cost beaches are all stunning it does not matter what one you pick.
Bonus Activity.

My Logo

Last week we made a logo design. My Logo is a music note which  shows my hobby and a N for the start of my name. The first thing we did was design 6 prototypes for our logo and choose the one we wanted to be our logo. The next thing we did was make it on a google drawing and choose our colors.  I choose green because I like nature and I choose orange because I'm always happy.  Can I get some feed back?
