Hey everyone so today i'm going to be posting my writing work, I had to pick a catorgy out of, horror, aventure and fantsy. I picked horror, then we had to watch a video and then write a story about it. I hope you like my story, if you think I can do anything better please let me know, Thank you.
 Good-Bye

I’m standing outside a house and it looks abandoned.
I want to go inside but I don’t know what’s inside it but then i’ll never know unless I go in.
I decide to go in and find out what is in there.
I hear weird sounds or even music coming from a room in the distance. 

Before we go any further into the story I’m going to tell who I am. My name is Nici,
and I’m a twelve-year-old girl. I will be thirteen in July. I am a curious girl obviously,
I like to explore places but if it gets too bad I leave but sometimes I can’t tell. Back to the story. 

I walked into the hallway and I thought I was getting closer to the music or sound. I still
didn’t know what it was and then I found out the music was coming from downstairs but
down stairs I didn’t know what room or where it was at all. 

I know what the sound is because it’s more clear it turns out the sound is a creepy type of music.
I got closer to the music and I thought I saw something in the distance but I think I'm just seeing things.
I keep walking until the music stops and a light flickers. 

One light behind me turns on but no one is there so I keep walking straight and then I see a hand or a foot.
I don’t know what it is but I stop walking and just stand still, then I see a body but then it’s not there.
I’m starting to get scared but I keep going and I’m not going to give up unless it gets really bad.

I keep walking until I hear a voice, my body freezes and I can’t move.
The voice Is saying “Hello Nici, What are you doing here?” I’m confused. How does it know my name?
I thought, “ Who are you, how do you know my name?” I said “ I am Noah and that’s for me to know and
you to never find out.” He replied.

Now I’m really scared so many questions are going through my head like, How does he know my name?
Why won’t he tell me? Do I know him? I ask him a question “
Can you come out of the shadow? He replies “Why?” “
I need to see you so I know who you are.” I reply “ Fine you won’t see me though.” He replied.

Now I’m really confused about what's going on. I hear footsteps but I can’t see anyone. I hear his voice
again “You didn’t answer my question. what are you doing here?” He told me I replied “I’m just exploring
this place. Why do you ask? I reply “ I ask because you're not meant to be here!” He replied. Now I’m
really getting scared of what's going on. Why is this happening to me?

I don’t know what to do. I felt a hand rest on my back. I get scared because no one is behind me.
Why am I still here? I want to get out of here but I can’t move anywhere. It feels like he is holding me
here and not letting me go. 

I ask” Are you holding me here?” He replies “No I’m not holding you, your body is just frozen in spot.”
I get scared I want to run, I finally I brake out of my frozen spot and run, “Bye” I say and I’m out of here
in a flash.

Creative writing

Once I saw a lot of rocks then I realized, that it was a mountain then I saw the sky that was beautiful. As I look across the setting I saw more of the mountain and then a lot more of the sky I loved the view. As I look down I can see some trees and water, the water was dark blue and it had many boats on it, the trees were a mixture of dark green leaves and light green leaves. you might wonder who I am...Hey, I'm Emma I love the view of every sight I see it is beautiful well to me you may not like it but I do. 

I love taking photos of lakes and rivers I like to take photographing class and right now I am taking an assessment for school. When I go to school everyday my friends and I look at all the photos I took through the weekend or holidays. Today is Sunday and I am at the ocean taking photos. I live in Auckland and every sight here is gorgeous. 

But I have a problem, Every time I take photos I get made to go up and share them in the class. But I Have Stagefright. All the time My Teacher Mrs. Cortney Says "Emma Please come up and show the class your photos." I try to tell her no but she makes me go up she won't stop and this isn't in photographing class it is in the form class, I've even gone to the principal but he hasn't done anything, I don't know what to do. 

 So my mum and dad came in and basically yelled at the principal and he ended up firing Mrs. Cortney. So he got a new teacher in. The new teacher's name was Mrs. Taylor and she was a lot nicer. I ended up getting a A+ for my assignment and I had the Highest Score.  

Teeth Play

For Writing We Had To Watch A Video That Had To Do With Teeth. Me And My Two Friends Carla And Haylee Made A Play And We Preformed It. It Was Fun To Make I Hope You Like It. Here Is The Words That We Did Not The Video Because We Could Not Get It From The I pad We Record It On.

Hokey Pokey Song

For Writing we made Hokey Pokey and My Writing Teacher said do some free writing but it has to be about Hokey Pokey So I choose to write a song.

How Do You Make Hokey Pokey?

Last week and this week for writing  we have been writing how we make Hokey Pokey. So Mrs Jack to us to write a explanation about you make Hokey Pokey. 

The Hardest part was thinking what would make scene.

The Easiest part was writing it and putting into 4 different paragraphs.

Have You Ever Made Hokey Pokey? It is a hard candy. Even the famous Cadbury factory make a famous “Crunchie Bar” Hokey Pokey Is covered with a nice chocolate topping.

First We Put ½ a cup of sugar and ¼ a cup of golden syrup in a medium size pot and mixed until it was just a liquid that was a brownish colour.  The heat was a average heat and it didn’t talk long until the bubbles were turning up.

Next we got a quick look at the hokey pokey as it was before we put the baking soda in it but Mrs Jack quickly put the mixture back on the stove. One Person Must Put Of A three Minute Timer When The Person Says To.

Then when the timer goes off someone has to quickly put two teaspoons of baking soda in it while the person that is making the Hokey Pokey as fast as they can.  Once The Baking soda is In you can tip out the mixture onto a baking tray but the tray MUST be covered in baking paper If It’s not the Hokey Pokey will stick to the Tray.

For Free Writing in writing we got to choose what we were going to write about so I chose to write about my school. I chose to write it on a google slide I hope you enjoy it.

Sea Turtles

For the past two weeks Mrs Jacks reading groups have been learning how a Sea Turtle grows from a egg to a adult. So we had to make a expiation about how they grow up. Please give me more feedback if you know any thing that I didn't put in my writing.

Years ago when the dinosaurs were around the sea turtles were around as well.

When the eggs are laid the female Sea Turtle goes up high on a beach then lays her 50 to 200 eggs. The eggs are nice and soft  and they are the size of a ping pong ball.

Once  80% of eggs hatch they are the size of a human’s palm. So they squirm all the way to the sea to swim and swim all the way back and forth to the beach where they were born.

While They are growing up some of them end up dead because of the oil and all of the gas the us humans are dumping in sea.

Once the sea turtles are a adult they end up back at the the beach
where they were born. So they can get the continue the way for their life
cycle again.

So that concludes how a Sea Turtle egg grows into a grown and breading
adult. From their little palm size baby to a big grown adult.

Feeling Poems

This Week For Writing we have been writing feeling poems. My First Feeling was Energetically Then Our Principal gave us a challenge, and I chose to take it. So I had to do the opposite feeling to Energetically so it was lazy.

Energetically

Energetically makes the children at the beach really hypo,

Then the kids will fall asleep.

Energetically looks like the adults are tired,

Because of all the hypo children.

Energetically sounds like kids laughing to jokes,

As Their friends tell them jokes.

Energetically tastes like the laughter burning my though,

As laugh to hard.

Energetically feels like friends grabbing your shoulder to stay balanced,

Before they fall over .

Energetically smells like happiness,

As we all laugh to much.

Laziness

Lazy Is the feeling you are if you are just laying in bed,

Doing nothing.

 

Lazy looks like laying around not doing a single thing,

While everyone else does it for you.

Lazy sounds like footsteps,

From of people running to get the thing’s you want.

Lazy Feels like everyone doing something,

Except yourself.

Lazy Tastes like freeness,

Because your not doing what everyone else is doing for you.

UGH LEAVE ME ALONE!!!

It was a bright moon on a lovely night. When…

One Day There was a Sweet and super kind girl named Nici.  She Had Short dark blonde hair.
Her fingernails are painted Gold and her Toenails were painted purple. She Had Bright green eyes and
 really nice tan, and she loves to sing.

But her biggest problem she has is her Aunty and her Uncle keeps yelling at her and she has to
stay in her room or even do all the chores. She is not aloud to go outside of the house inlest she is
under parent supervision.

Right now she is 18 and all her teenager life she was suck in her room because she is always getting
told of for no reason. She hated her Aunty and her Uncle, and because of them she didn’t like her
teenage years. She also has to make to look after her two 13 year old brothers.

Her Aunty and her Uncle had ruined her life, she wanted to stop it…

The Next Day She Went up to her Mum and Dad and said “ I need to talk to you”

They Both replied “Okay Nici Where do you want to go to talk?

“ Umm in my room.” Replied Nici

“Okay Let’s go then.” They both replied toughther.

They walked up to the room and they started to talk. Nici said “ Mum And Dad we need to get
Aunty And Uncle there own apartment Because you know I am a well behaving kid and you kept
telling me off when they lie to you.” Said Nici “Please believe me” cried Nici

“Okay we believe you we will help you get them their own home.”

Then the next day her life was back to normal because they got a home for her Aunty and Uncle.

This Week for writing

Mrs M

Once upon a time there was a kind, sweet and
beautiful
woman named Mrs M. She had lovely brown eyes
and beautiful brown hair.

She lived in a wonderful castle with a fantastic
live and a lovely family.

She had a wonderful talent of making beautiful
and very lovely wedding dresses.

But she had a very big problem, she didn’t have
anyone to make the beautiful wedding dresses for.

This made her very upset.One day she said to
herself “ I wish I could make wedding dresses for
people instead of just for fun.”

after a while she met a very kind guy named Mr M,
he asked Her to marry Him And She Agreed.

She had so much fun making her own wedding
dress.

Anzac Writing

Today I had to write about How it made me feel to research about, Thomas Marshall Percy Grace.  I said That it made me feel sad but also proud because of what they did for us.

I feel sad about having to research people that had died
in the war. It made me want to cry because of how some
of them died. Like Thomas Marshall Percy Grace died in
action at the age of 25.

I also Feel proud of them because of what they did for
us as people. We are all proud of all the people that
went to the war because they risked there life for us
to be alive right now.

Ban The Plastic Bags

This week we have been writing a pervasive argument. The Argument we had to write was about plastic Bags and if we wanted to  ban them or not.  I chose to ban them because they are killing most of the turtles.

Would you eat plastic?

I wouldn’t. Most of the animals in the sea are dying because of plastic.

Plastic is made out out of petroleum(petrol). So that means it is poisonous.  It kills most of the sea animals in the world. If you want a pet Turtle or a pet Fish you won’t have that much of a chance, because of your littering.

Plastic kills over 100,000 marine animals a year. Most of the animals that are dying are Turtles because they think that the plastic bags are Jellyfish. If you go fishing  you will mostly catch plastic bottles, Plastic bags and Plastic straws.

There are five garbage patches in our oceans, the worst is the Great Pacific. It’s the worst Garbage Patch  because most of the rubbish is floating to that specific area in the sea.

Keep in mind on what you, are doing to the marine animals that live in the sea.  Stop dropping your rubbish on the ground.

More Morning tea

This week In Writing we were learning about persuasive writing. I found it hard to find strong words to put in my writing. I found it easy for find what topic I was going to write about. This Topic I chose was easy to write about.

Did you know that when children have a longer morning tea they get their work done faster? I believe that if we have 5 more minutes of morning tea. The children will get their work done fast and then be able to blog their work.

I believe that if you let us have a longer morning tea, we will exercise more and we will want to get our work done faster. As we will run around a lot more we will also learn better because we would have gotten rid of  most of the energy and we will be calm.

With a longer morning tea we get a larger brain break from all the work. We will also have a some time to go to the toilet and get a drink. With more time for eating  we will also get longer to play on the playground or in the hall if there is basketball.

Please keep in mind that if we have a longer morning tea we will get our work done faster. We will also have a better time to get our work blogged faster.

The Kite Eating Tree

This week for writing I had to write about a pitcher. I only started on Tuesday but I caught up to everyone By Wednesday. Then I Put the photo I had to write about and I did the second half of the writing.

5 minutes before

One super freezing cold day I woke up in my really warm Pajamas. To have Pancake for my breakfast. After i had my Delicious breakfast I went up to my room to get dressed, I put on a red coat, black track pants and my brown shoes. After a got myself dressed I went downstairs to ask my mum if I could go down to the park.  And my mum said yes you sure can.

So I walked down to the snowy park and when I got there I saw a kite and i asked the owner of the kite if i could fly it, and they said sure go for it. So I flew the kite and the suddenly….

5 Minutes After

I flew up into the snowy sky and got tangled up in a tree. Soon a girl can over and weirdly started to yell at me. I thought that Lucy thought that my kite was her Bright red kite. I told her that her kite was over on the chair and she look and Cried “Oh so it is sorry about that let me go to my house and get my scissors to cut you down with.” sooner or later she returned with some bright red scissors and cut me down. After she cut me down she helped me untangle from the kite string she asked me if i wanted to skate on the ice with her. I answered sure.

My Holiday Recount

WALT -  We are learning to write a recount using a hook in the Orientation and elaboration of 1 idea.

In Writing we are learning to elaborate  on our ideas and use a hook at the start of our writing. We wrote a recount about our holidays. My hook is Aggggghhhhh that`ts all the people heard from me at Wycolya Park. I have elaborated on my sequence of events I used wow words to elaborate on ideas.

My Hoilday Recount

Aggggghhhhh that’s all the people heard from me at Wycolya Park.In the holidays  Me,  Mum, Zane and Rocky and Tyson went to  Wycola Park. We went just to have some fun together.

First of all we went on the slide. We were acting  like the boss of the park. The way we were acting like the boss of the park is  we were  pretending to boss everyone around. Then we went down again and hit our head on the bark. I went head first because my brother pushed me down. We made a humiliation of ourself.

Next we wanted to go on the monkey bars. We swung like a monkey. We sat on them. We looked like a monkey. I could not reach the bars.

Then we went on the swings. Me and Zane jumped off the swing. We both went flying off the swing when we jumped off. I landed on my back with the stitch it was super painful.

After that we went to the flying fox. We  went zooming in the air. We waited for our turn. We had a blast.

It was a fantastic holiday and I would love to go back again.

Antarctica Animal Descipton

For the last few weeks I have been in a reading group that is called animals by animals I mean Antarctica animals and we had to write about them, so first of all I write about Penguin and then Huskies.

Penguin

Penguins are really fluffy and cuddly.

Penguins have two flippers to swim under water. Penguins have a lot of feathers Penguins have 1000 feathers. Under all the tickling  feathers there is  a thick layer of blubber it makes them stay warm during snowstorms. The way baby penguins are born is the mother lays eggs. When the baby hatch the mother feeds the baby out of her mouth it is dusting but nice because the mothers might not get there food for them.

Penguins are so cute and I would love to have a pet penguin.

They are cute.

Huskies

Huskies are living things. They are one of my favorite type of dogs.

Huskies can live in antarctica or in your home. They eat dry or wet dog food. The way they keep warm in the snow is their undercoat. They way Huskies behave in antarctica is by helping people and animals that are being injured.

Huskies can live for 12 to 15 years. Huskies are quite talented they can help people and they can survive in the coldest  place on earth.  Huskies used to live in antarctica now they live in the antarctic, they stayed in antarctica for a little bit.
