Tane Mahuta Week 2

As I told you last blog post about Tane Mahuta I am in a group called Tane Mahuta. If you have forgotten we help the school to become a better place. 😉

What we did today is we went into the plum tree and got some plums to make plum jam but i have found a recipe for plum pie so here it is

1. In a large bowl, sprinkle plums with lemon juice. Combine the sugar, flour, salt and cinnamon. ...
2. For topping, in a small bowl, combine the sugar, flour, cinnamon and nutmeg; cut in butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over filling.
3. Bake at 375° for 50-60 minutes or until filling is bubbly.

Then after interval we went into the compost place and raked up leaves and picked up rubbish and also picked up the garden waste

I am apart of the Tane Mahtuta Group. Our Job Is To Make The World Around Our School Better. Today We Walked Around The Garden And Thought Of What We Can Make Better In There Then We Walked To The Field And Around It And Thought Of What We Could Do To Make That Part Of The School Better. My Favourite Part Of The School Is The Field Because It Has A Lot Of Shade. My Best Idea To Improve The School Is A Little Pond With Fake Animals It Would Be Placed Around The Road Part Of The School.
