Part 1-Parris Goebel
Who is Parris Goebel?-She is a dancer who has been interested in dance almost her hole life
Where did she grow up?-She grew up in Auckland 
How/when did she study dance?-she started lessons when she was 10 so when she was ten years old she started to study dance 

 

Part 2-  The Royal family(Not the one in England)
Who are the Royal family?-They are a hip hop dance crew from New Zealand
What competitions have they won?- They have won the world hip hop dance championship 3 times in 2011 2012 and 2013 and they got a silver in 2015 and a bronze in 2016
What famous singers have they danced for?-Justin Bieber, Rihanna, Ciara, Thats all I can find https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-mKzJIW9w2c(They dance in 2019)

Part 3-Choreography
What does the word Choreography mean?-It is a sequence of dance and steps put together
What is a choreographer?- They are a person who comes up with the dance

What he ran- He ran a dance company called Paul Taylor dance company which started in 1954
Birthday-29th July 1930
Passed away-29th august 2018

Martha Graham 
Age-96
What she ran-She didn't really run things but she taught ballet
Birthday-11th May 1894
Passed away-1st April 1991

Part 4-Types of dance
Hip-Hop-Hip hop dance is a vibrant form of dance that combines a variety of freestyle movements to create a cultural piece of art.

Ballet- Ballet is a type of performance dance that originated during the Italian renaissance in the fifteenth century.

Jazz-Jazz is a type of music of black American origin which emerged at the beginning of the 20th century.

Salsa-It is a Latin dance associated with the music genre of the same name which was first popularized in the united states in the 1960s in new York city 

Tap-It is a type of dance characterized by using the sound of metal taps affixed to the heel and toe of shoes striking the floor as a form of percussion.

Contemporary- It is a dance performance that developed during he mid-twentieth century and has since grown to become one of the dominant genres
