Alarm Call

This week Poni-o-toka we all write about a pitcher that had a goblin and a kitten. In the pitcher it looks like the goblin is going to step on the kitten. But instead of saying that the goblin was going to stand on the kitten we had to have a twist my twist was that the goblin was going to try and eat the kitten but the owner stopped him and scared him away.

AHHHHH There is a huge goblin in my house help me!
“Okay Okay I  must pretend to sleeping, and make it look like I am having a fantastic dream I hope this works ahhh.” When The Kitten saw the goblin she wanted to make a run for it,  but she couldn’t. “Mahahaha the kitten is sleeping now is my chance to stand on the kitten.” The kitten was dreaming about her delicious cat food.

As the goblin went to step on the kitten instead he snached the kitten. Then the kitten woke up and screamed “Put me down you're a creepy Goblin”  The Kitten wanted to properly go to sleep and relax while she is sleeping. “ Mahaha no never I will eat you mahaha” as the goblin said that the kitten was freaking out so then she replied “Well I’m not goblin food so leave me alone and please leave and would you please leave my family alone”. The goblin said  “Whatever you will never get away.” Then owner woke up and said “What are you doing to my cat Mr. Goblin?” The goblin replied “ I'm gonna eat her and you will not have any more cats because i will eat them all.”

The owner the yelled “ NO YOU WON’T YOU NASTY CAT EATING GOBLIN!!”

My First day at Te Manu Tukutuku

This week we moved to the new South Hornby School We are now called Te Manu Tukutuku. So we had to make a poem about what we like about the school we are now at My Poem has what I feel, what I hear, What I see, What I smell and what I could touch.

My First day at Te Manu Tukutuku

I feel curious as I walk through the brand new school grounds.

I hear a lot of kids laughing and meeting up with their friends.

I see brand new shiny tables and new blue chairs.

I smell the brand new smell of furniture and the paint colours on our walls.

I touch the nice soft walls as I walk along the spaces.

I am excited for my future at this school.
