Hey everyone welcome back today in hurumanu 1 we are learning about debating, we are learning about debating because for hurumanu 2 we have a hurumanu election which is where there are multiple groups and we all have to basically debate in front of people to get votes. Debating- Debating is a structured argument where there are two sides and then they both have a different argument.
Pro vs Con- It is good vs bad basically and the good side gets to state their side of the argument
Proposition- It is the first people that gets to speak so they get to state what their point of the argument is first
Opposition- The opposition is the second group of people that get to state their side of the argument
Order of debate- it is the whole argument restated and then the argument is finished and one side is chosen of who the other people think are the better argument
