My bow and arrow

Hey everyone today Miss Birtch told us to make a blog post about something we like to do. So I hope you have something in common with me. 

                                  

I like to do archery. My dad taught me how to aim and how to get my bow and arrow in the right place so that I can shoot it. I got my bow and arrow for my birthday. 

I will be joining a club next year and I will get a lot more photo's of me in my club that I join. I like to make sure that I have it in place and that I can see where I shoot.

If I don't shoot where I aim, I get really mad at myself. I  also know that I can do better and I know when and what to do to make myself better.  I practice every day when I get home from school and that I know that I can practice whenever I can and whenever I remember I know that I can make sure that I know to keep practicing.

P.E

Hey everyone for P.E today I played a game called forceback we used a touch ball and hulla hoops I kept getting hit by the ball and when I caught it I all most fell over. We vsed another team and their called netball touch. My favorite game that we played was netball touch because it was more fun and I understood it more.

Working as a Team

I have a negative influence on the team.  The teacher has reminded me to get involved. I get into arguments and sometimes use nasty words. I sometimes cheat.	I sometimes make a contribution to the team goal.  I sometimes need the teacher or my teammates to remind me to join in or try harder.   I try to use positive words and actions to encourage my team, but I find it hard.	I always make a contribution to the team goal. I include myself in the team activity, and I include others.  I sometimes use positive words and actions to encourage my team.	I am a leader in making a contribution to the team goal.  I make sure I include everyone in what’s going on.  I am always encouraging, and my positive words and actions lift my team’s performance.

Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children

For reading, I am reading a book called Miss Peregrines Home For Peculiar Children it is written by Ransom Riggs. I am writing the post for the people that might not have read this book. If you think you have read this book but not sure if you have this is what the cover looks like ￫￫￫￫￫￫￫￫￫￫￫￫￫￫
So far I am enjoying it. It is a bit like a mystery because once you read one page you are really want to know what happens on the next page and before you read it you think to your self " Will the next page be like this one or a bit different... I guess we will find out" The book is a senior fiction but I was allowed to get it out for my reading work. I think so far the book would be rated for year sevens that are good at reading to year thirteens in school years adults would probably read the whole book in like one week because they are  really good at reading and they know most of the words in the dictionary because of when they went to school they had to write words out from the dictionary if they didn't behave so they know a lot of words if they didn't behave at school.

What I want Miss Birtch to know about me

Kia Ora everyone today one of our teachers Miss Birtch is teaching us and would like us to post a blog post with a few things about us on it. So here they are and I hope you learn something new about me.

1) I really love to eat ice cream whenever I get the chance I take it. If we get to have an ice cream party this term I won't turn it down.

2) I am a 12-year-old girl. I just turned 12  last term, I spent a lot of time with family.

3. I have three brothers one is eighteen and another two are seven and just turned seven last week.

4) My favorite sport is netball and whenever I play it I have a huge smile on my face because it makes me happy to play.

5) My favorite color is green and I like to color with that color if its ever there.

6) I am a year seven at Hornby high school.

7) I love to read and write whenever I can.

8) I am from Christchurch.

9) My favorite animal is a giraffe.
