This week in reading we read a book about eating the bugs and then we had to convince people to eat bugs. They are healthy for you and in the future you will have to eat bugs if all the meat goes and there is no other food and there is only bugs that's what we will have to eat.
I am a student at in Uru Mānuka. In 2020 I was a year 8 and in 2021 I will be a year 9. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. At School I have been doing Number Of The Week. This week our number is 3298. It has a part where you write down what your number is. The next part is you have to write the number down in a line called Scribble. Then the next slide is you have to put the number in the number as 3000+200+90+8= then you write the number down. On the next slide you have to write your number down in a word form I did Three Thousand two hundred and ninety eight. On the next slide

For Digi Awards a group set up a "Make There Day Shop"
I could buy a Ice-block and instead of paying with money I paid with a kind act to make someones day. I chose to help someone that is hurt to pay for my Ice-block.

Coconut Raisin Bliss Balls
For the last few week we have been writing about our Coconut Raisin Bliss balls. First we had to wash our hands. Next we had to watch our reading teacher put all the ingredients in the blender, she did that two times. Then we got to get some and we go a chose on what we wanted to put the chooses were coconut or chocolate powder I got both on two different sides. After That we had to smell it. Then we got to taste it It was very YUMMY for me but for some other kids it was NOT nice they thought it would have chocolate on it and it didn't.

Coconut Raisin Bliss Balls
The bliss balls looked like dirt. They were like rotten walnuts. When they had the coconut on it looked like rocks were on it. It even looked like a mud ball.
They smelt like coffee. They also smelt like chocolate powder. They were very sweet when I smelt them. They were very coco-nutty .
They tasted strong and delicious. Also all chocolate like because mine have chocolate powder on it.
I heard the blender going rough and VERY noisy. It sounded like our caregiver Mr Smith and his lawnmower.
When I got told that we were tasting something I got excited, joyful but also a little worried. When I tasted the Bliss Balls They were Chewy, Soft, Light and very Messy.
I enjoyed it very much

Adding
For the last the few days we have been learning how to add. We had to make a DLO about it. The Question was that I did was 84+98= and it was easy because I used a number line and you know what a number line is because in my last post I told you what a number line is.

don't Subtract Add
For the past week we have been learning how to add not subtract. The way to do that is were you have a subtracting question and change it to a adding number for example (70-24=) you would change it to (24+___=70) the blank is where you put the number you got. The way I find it out is by using a number line. Number lines are what you use if you don't know what the answer is you use a number line.
